  • TCS has plans to introduce its new model called 25/25 post COVID-19. This plan will ask majority of 75% of its 4.48 lakh employees to permanently work from home, up from the average of 20% today. NG Subramaniam, TCS CEO, said, “We don’t believe that we need more than 25% of our workforce at our facilities in order to be 100% productive.”

  • With the lockdown impacting businesses and their revenue, 47% of Indian startups including Swiggy, Oyo, Meesho, Udaan, and VOGO have either laid off or furloughed their staff. Reports also suggest that their capitals in the bank have started to dry up.
