  • NTPC will pay Rs 11,500 crores to acquire government’s stakes in THDC India Ltd (THDCIL) and North Eastern Electric Power Corp Ltd (NEEPCO). Rs 7,500 crores for 75% stake in THDCIL and Rs 4,000 crores for full ownership (100%) in NEEPCO.
