- Cognizant offered an extra 25% of base pay to Indian employees up to associate level, in wake of the ongoing pandemic.
- Reckitt Benckiser, a British consumer goods major, on Friday launched the RB Fight for Access Fund that will see the makers of Dettol soaps and Harpic cleaners allocate 32 Million Euros to address the pandemic . The company will donate 10 million Dettol soaps in India.

- Blackstone Group on Friday went ahead to pay Rs 1800 crores as its first tranche of the Rs 2700 crore deal to acquire Coffee Day Group’s Global Village Technology Park.
- Moody’s Investor Service assigned Ba1 corporate family rating (CFR) to Motherson Sumi Systems Ltd (MSSL) and withdrew the company’s Baa3 issuer rating on Friday.
- Tata Motors on Friday said that the board approved the setting up of a new subsidiary for its passenger vehicle business.
- NTPC will pay Rs 11,500 crores to acquire government’s stakes in THDC India Ltd (THDCIL) and North Eastern Electric Power Corp Ltd (NEEPCO). Rs 7,500 crores for 75% stake in THDCIL and Rs 4,000 crores for full ownership (100%) in NEEPCO.
