Latest IPL news today 2020 – The Government of India has officially given its go-ahead to the BCCI for conducting IPL 2020 in the UAE which is scheduled in the month of September. This will allow the franchises to begin their logistical, medical, and travel planning. This will be one of the major tasks that lie ahead for BCCI in terms of logistical and financial preparations for the tournament. Another major task that needs to be done by the BCCI is finding a suitable title sponsor after VIVO stepped down as this season’s title sponsor at the last minute. Though the BCCI has already floated out an Expression of Interest (EOI) regarding the title sponsor replacement and are certain that they will find a suitable replacement. However, this is yet to be seen if the replacement sponsor will be able to match VIVO’s 440 crore deal per season with BCCI. This would mean a lot to the franchises too as half of the winnings are to be divided among the 8 teams of the IPL according to the new revenue-sharing agreement between the teams and BCCI.latest ipl news today 2020

Though Stokes hasn’t contributed much with the bat in the first Test with the scores of 0 and 9 in the two innings, he is still an integral part of the English team. His bowling figures of 2-11 were instrumental in providing England with their win against Pakistan in the first Test match and taking the score in the series to 1-0 in their favour. The second test match against Pakistan will begin on August 13 at Ageas Bowl. It is yet to be decided who will replace Stokes in the upcoming match.
