Lok Sabha Election 2019 Phase 2 Voting – The polling for the second phase of the Lok Sabha election 2019 started today. Today 11 states, the union territory of Puducherry with Tamil Nadu have gone into polling. Voting is being held in a total of 38 constituencies which have 95 Lok Sabha seats. Fate of around 1600 odd candidates contesting for these 95 seats will be sealed by the voters today.
Hema Malini is contesting from Mathura on behalf of BJP, while Raj Babbar is contesting from Fatehpur Sikri constituency on behalf of Congress. 5.8 crore voters in Tamil Nadu will decide the fate of 822 candidates contesting in 38 constituencies in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The voting started at 7.00 in the morning at all the centres.
The voters can vote only at the polling booths where their name is registered. If you still do not know how to find out your polling booth, instead of asking people here and there, just check it online through the website of Election Commission.

Bharatiya Janata Party achieved an absolute majority with 282 seats out of 543, 166 more than previous 15th Lok Sabha. PM candidate Narendra Modi took office on 26 May 2014 as the 14th prime minister of India. Running in nine phases from 7 April to 12 May 2014, it was the longest election in India’s history.
