Lok Sabha election results 2019 live updates. PM Narendra Modi said: “I was busy today. So I couldn’t pay attention to the results. I don’t have much information about it. But I have now been briefed by Amit Shah. I’ll see it in detail. But from what he told me, that itself indicates that political pundits will have to change their 20th-century thinking”.

Election Commission of India has started announcing the final results of the Lok Sabha elections 2019. Check the final tally of winners. EC declared results for all the 542 seats and BJP candidates won from 303 seats. Congress party was able to manage to get only 52 seats.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi accepted his defeat in Amethi, and said: “I respect the decision and congratulate Smriti Irani ji.” Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Congress General Secretary for UP east also accepted the defeat of Congress party and said: “We accept people’s verdict and congratulate PM Modi and BJP workers”.

  • EC declared results for all the 542 seats and BJP candidates won from 303 seats. Congress party was able to manage to get only 52 seats. The final results of Lok Sabha Elections 2019

  • PM Modi along with Amit Shah went to meet senior BJP leader Mr.L.K.Advani. He later met Murli Manohar Joshi also and took his blessings.
  • The final result for 11 seats has still not been declared. Till now, out of 531, BJP has won from 299 seats while Congress could manage to win at only 52 places.

  • BJP North East Delhi candidate Manoj Tiwari won by 366102 votes
  • BJP North West Delhi candidate Hans Raj Hans won by 553897 votes.
  • BJP East Delhi candidate Gautam Gambhir won by 391222 votes.
  • PM Narendra Modi addressed BJP party workers. He said this is the win of Hindustan.
  • President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, congratulated PM Narendra Modi on his win. He tweeted: “Congratulations to Prime Minister @NarendraModi and his BJP party on their BIG election victory! Great things are in store for the US-India partnership with the return of PM Modi at the helm. I look forward to continuing our important work together!”

  • BJP candidate from Gorakhpur, Ravi Kishan, wins by 3,01,664 votes.
  • Till now out of 117 final results declared, 74 wins have come to BJP and 18 to INC.
  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi removed Chowkidar from his twitter handle. He tweeted: “The people of India became Chowkidars and rendered great service to the nation. Chowkidar has become a powerful symbol to safeguard India from the evils of casteism, communalism, corruption and cronyism.”

  • Amit Shah has also shared his happiness at the BJP win and tweeted: यह जीत पूरे भारत की जीत है। देश के युवा, गरीब, किसान की आशाओं की जीत है। यह भव्य विजय प्रधानमंत्री मोदी जी की पाँच साल के विकास और मजबूत नेतृत्व में जनता के विश्वास की जीत है। मैं भाजपा के करोड़ों कार्यकर्ताओं की ओर से श्री @narendramodi जी को हार्दिक बधाई देता हूँ।

  • Himachal: Anurag Thakur of BJP is leading by 3,80,918 votes from Hamirpur.
  • 13.15: BJP now leading in 294, INC leading in 52, DMK in 22, AITC in 23, YSRC in 24, YSRC in 23, Shiv Sena in 19, JDU in 15, BJD in 15 and BSP in 12 constituencies.
  • Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel, congratulated PM Narendra Modi and tweeted “will continue to strengthen our friendship between India and Israel”.

  • Aam Aadmi Party has also seemed to have accepted its defeat even before the official announcement of final results. AAP tweeted to Congratulate BJP on their victory.

  • Mamta Banerjee tweeted to congratulate BJP. “Congratulations to the winners. But all losers are not losers. We have to do a complete review and then we will share our views with you all. Let the counting process be completed fully and the VVPATs matched”.

  • UP: SP’s Akhilesh Yadav of SP is leading by 52,009 over Dinesh Lal Yadav ‘Nirahua’ of BJP from Azamgarh.
  • Bihar: Ravi Shankar Prasad of BJP is leading ahead of Shatrughan Sinha of Congress by 1,33,959 votes from Patna Sahib.

Elections in all the 542 seats of 2019 Lok Sabha which was held in 7 phases have been successfully completed. The first phase was held on 11th April and the last phase was held on May 19. The counting of votes commences at 8 am on 23rd May.
