Thus, the remaining Manchester United players are 10 people.  Except for Dylan Levitt, who cannot be named as a core player, here is information about the progress of the nine Red Devils players at Euro 2020.

 Daniel James

James is one of the members of the Wales national team who managed to advance to the round of 16 as a representative of Group A with Italy.  The 23-year-old played in three group stage matches.

The left side of the attack is his playing area.  So far, his action has been impressive with a record eight chances created.  More than any other player involved in this competition.

Harry Maguire

Maguire joined the England national team while carrying an injury suffered last May when Manchester United met Aston Villa.  As a result, he had to miss the first two matches of the group stage.

After recovering, Maguire played in the last Group D match against the Czech Republic at Wembley Stadium.  His performance was quite slick with a record of two sweeps and two interceptions during the match.

Marcus Rashford

Unlike Maguire, Rashford joined the Three Lions squad in good health.  Unfortunately, he played all three matches in the group stage with the status of a substitute in the second half.

The lack of playing opportunities made it difficult for Rashford to make a big impact.  It is very likely that he will return to the bench when England meet Germany in the round of 16 later.

Scott McTominay

This Manchester United academy dropout featured in all three Scotland matches in Group D. But the most impressive performance was seen when Scotland faced England last week.

McTominay, originally a midfielder, appeared as a defender in a 3-4-1-2 formation.  He managed to neutralize the action of Harry Kane et al so that Scotland was able to achieve the only point in this competition.

David De Gea

2021 is not friendly with De Gea.  At Manchester United, his position began to be taken by Dean Henderson who appeared quite impressive when he had to be absent to accompany his wife who was born.

Now his position in the Spanish national team has also been snatched away by Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Unai Simon.  De Gea was not included in the three matches that La Furia Roja played in the group phase, and it is likely that he will miss the last 16 match later.

Victor Lindelof

When at Manchester United, Lindelof’s rays were always blocked by Harry Maguire whose action was always awaited by the public.  But it’s a different story in Euro 2020, where he became the protagonist behind Sweden’s success in winning Group E.

His most impressive action was seen when he faced Spain last week.  He made six sweeps, two blockades and roamed the field for 9.8 kilometers.  He also did not commit a single foul in that match.

Many agree that Pogba performed much more brilliantly when strengthening the French national team than Manchester United.  This statement was again proven by his actions throughout the Euro 2020.

Bruno Fernandes

It is undeniable that Bruno Fernandes is Manchester United’s best performer in the 2020/21 season.  Unfortunately, he was unable to show a similar performance when wearing the Portugal jersey.

Former Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho once criticized him like this: “we had to play with 11 men. In both games Bruno Fernandes was on the pitch but didn’t play,” he told talkSPORTS.
