Que 26th August and the world will be glued to watch Connor McGregor square off against Floyd Mayweather in one of the biggest sporting event of this year in Las Vegas. It’s a fight which looks certain to break all pay-per-view records, and after months of build-up and three tours which saw the two dish out some of the meanest and coldest insults to each other, the fight is finally here tomorrow. The talking stops, on Saturday night as Floyd Mayweather faces UFC’s biggest star, Conor McGregor, in Sin City.

With the T-Arena in Vegas expected to be packed to the hills despite exuberant ticket prices, organisers are expecting hundreds of millions to be watching on their TV sets around the world making it one of the biggest boxing events in history. The last few months have featured high levels of animosity on both sides, with both meeting each other on three different occasions as they faced-off against each other. The face-offs saw both stooping down to the lowest level to downgrade the other as the rivalry heated up ahead of fight night.

Mayweather boasting off a  49-0 boxing record , has a lot riding on the match as defeat will not only ruin his perfect record but also be a big insult on him, having challenged Mayweather who is a MMA fighter to box against him . The undefeated all-time pound-for-pound great Floyd Mayweather, boasting of 12 world titles in five weight classes, will exit a two-year retirement for one fight to face UFC star McGregor who is the only fighter in history to hold two titles simultaneously.

“This was something that the fans wanted to see,” Mayweather said. “I spoke to my team and said that the Mayweather-McGregor fight can be the biggest fight in history. That’s what we’re here to turn into reality.”

If McGregor, 29, of Ireland, wins, many will consider it the biggest upset in sports history as he hasn’t competed a single boxing match till date. McGregor is not a boxer, and there is no way he could make himself into an elite one in a matter of months but the one thing he has to his advantage is his ruthless nature in the ring and mind blasting powerful punches. All it needs for one punch of his to connect and he could very well end knocking out Mayweather. If the face-offs are anything to go by, we are in for a treat on the 26th.
