Lot of places of tourist interest in Delhi are connected by Delhi Metro. This means, every time you want to visit some place in Delhi, you don’t look for an Auto rickshaw or a Cab. Travelling by Metro is safe, cheap and convenient. This also mean that you don’t have to rush, can explore the place at your own pace and no driver tagging along to grab his share of commission from your shopping.

Here’s the list of Metro stations and the tourist places accessible from there. Once you reach the Metro station, feel free to walk or hire a cycle/auto rickshaw to visit close-by places.
