What is there to say about this man that the world already doesn’t know! India’s quintessential captain cool- Mahendra Singh Dhoni, perhaps the world’s greatest finisher and one of the greatest heroes of limited-overs cricket, has won 7 Man of the Series awards in this ODI career despite being a finisher for most of the time in his career spanning from 2004 till his last appearance in World Semi-Final against New Zealand in 2019. He has played 350 ODIs for India and appeared in 80 ODI series. While batting in 297 innings he has scored 10,773 runs at a phenomenal batting average of 50.58 scoring 826 fours and 229 sixes in total.

His partnership along with Sachin Tendulkar in ODIs was one of the most dangerous opening pairs in international cricket at the time. He has played in 311 ODI matches while batting in 300 of them. In these 300 innings, he has scored 11,363 runs at a batting average of 40.73 scoring 1122 fours and 190 sixes. Playing in a total of 75 ODI series, he has 7 Man of the Series awards which shows his tremendous batting ability to win matches for his country.

One of the greatest match-winners of ODI cricket, Yuvraj Singh is known for his bashy attitude, glorious cover drives, and his shots over mid-wicket which all depicted his sheer class and talent. The batsman who is renowned for hitting six sixes in six balls has been magnificent of white-ball cricket throughout his career. Receiving his first-ever Man of the Series Award in a home series against South Africa back in 2005, he has won 7 Man of the Series in his ODI career to date out of the 304 matches and 71 series that he has played for his country. Batting in 278 innings, he scored a staggering 8701 runs with a batting average of 36.56 while hitting 908 fours and 155 sixes. His outstanding performance in the 2011 World Cup, scoring 362 runs in eight innings, and taking 15 wickets led him to win the Man of the Tournament award.

Tendulkar dominated the top bowlers of the world in his time with his strong foundation and brilliant technique. In his career spanning from 1989 till 2012, he won 15 Man of the Series awards. Having played in 463 ODI matches and batting in 452 of them, Tendulkar scored 18,426 runs with a batting average of 44.83 and 2016 fours and 195 sixes under his belt. He won the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award, in 2014 for his outstanding contribution to cricket and making India proud all over the world.
