Shikhar Dhawan scored a century in his Test debut against Australia. He was a regular member of India’s white-ball cricket team since his debut but in test matches, he went through some difficult time despite scoring a ton in his debut. In his debut Test match, Dhawan scored 187 runs against Australia at Mohali. But his performances thereon were not consistent. When Dhoni was the captain, Dhawan was always the first choice for the opening batsman for Team India. But after Mahi left his captaincy, Dhawan’s place in India’s test team is still unstable.
