MS Dhoni News Retirement – The new BCCI President, Sourav Ganguly will be speaking to the selecting committee about the future of Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the games to come ahead. Sourav Ganguly will want to know about the plans of the selection committee about MSD and only then he will give his opinion.

After India’s semi-final exit in the 2019 World Cup, Dhoni has not played for India and his participation is unlikely in the 3 matches T2o International series against Bangladesh which will start on 3rd November 2019.

Dhoni has not announced his retirement until now. With the World T20 in Australia next year, the selectors are keen to move forward in the mega event which will be played in October 2020. The selection committee has made some clear indication to move forward.

First Ganguly will speak to the selectors when he meets them on October 24th, 2019. He will ask them about their plans for Dhoni and will then put his opinion forward. Sourav will also meet Dhoni and ask him about his future plans with the Indian Cricket team.

Ganguly was not in the picture earlier, so nothing was clear to him. But now, he is in the position to know and to decide the way forward for MS Dhoni.

Earlier, 21st October was the date of the selection meeting but now 24th October is finalized as the selection date. With the team India A, team India B and C will also be selected for the upcoming Deodhar Trophy.

Ganguly also spoke about the day-night Test. He wants to have a day and night test for India as soon as the BCCI changes their mind. As Ganguly will be the new president of the board, he is thinking that India should play in the day-night matches with the test championship.

MS Dhoni News Retirement – The world test championship will have a pink ball as Adelaide will be hosting it. It will not be right to think that the world championship will not have day and night test matches.
