Earlier,Former Indian Chairman of Selectors already said that they will be moving ahead of MS Dhoni and till that point, Rishabh Pant was supposedly the one to fill the big shoes of MS Dhoni. But in a span of a few months, things have changed.

So, according to the rules of the International Cricket Council, Pant was rested for that game and for the next game as well.

A cricketer from Australia also shared his views when he was asked about MS Dhoni’s future. He made a big statement about Dhoni. When he was asked should Dhoni being included in the Indian team for the T20 World Cup in Australia? Brad Hogg responded that Dhoni should not be included in the Indian team. He added “Dhoni has not played any international matches in a long time. Most of the matches in IPL will be held in Chennai, if the IPL is played at all. The spin in Chennai is great for bowling but in Australia, bowling is good for fast bowlers. Australia will not get the kind of atmosphere as it is in Chennai.”
