Narendra Modi’s Varanasi Roadshow – Preparations of Lok Sabha Election 2019 are ongoing in Varanasi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to file his nomination papers for the Lok Sabha election on 26 April 2019. Modi will be seen in a massive roadshow in Varanasi today evening.

Modi begins his mega roadshow in Varanasi by garlanding the statue of Madan Mohan Malviya present in the right opposite the main entrance of Banaras Hindu University.
Narendra Modi’s Varanasi Roadshow is expected to stretch over six kilometers starting from gates of the famous Banaras Hindu University to Dashashwamedh Ghat passing through various ghats and ancient temples. Most of the senior leaders of the Bhartiya Janata Party including Union ministers Sushma Swaraj, Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal and Nirmala Sitharaman, and BJP Chief Amit Shah will accompany PM Modi.
The entire road show is expected to be lined with BJP party workers who’ll be showering love and flowers to PM Modi. The roadshow is expected to start from 3 PM today.

NDA leaders including Shiromani Akali Dal chief Parkash Singh Badal, Shiv Sena boss Uddhav Thackeray, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Lok Jan Shakti Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan may also be attending the roadshow. Chief Ministers of some other BJP led states may also attend the roadshow.
BJP MPs and senior party leaders from the Kashi region will be in Varanasi for this occasion too, along with star candidates Ravi Kishan and Dinesh Lal Yadav ‘Nirhua’.

The party has decided to set up 101 welcome points across the entire stretch of the roadshow which will be monitored by local BJP MLAs. The BJP is expecting a crowd of approx 6lakh for the road show.
After completing the roadshow, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be performing ‘Ganga aarti’ at Dashashwamedh Ghat. He will also visit Kashi Vishwanath temple. In the evening, a meeting with around 3000 influential persons of Varanasi has been fixed at hotel De Paris.
On the morning of April 26, Prime Minister Modi will visit Kal Bhairav temple and after that he will be seen with party giving them winning ideas for these elections. After this, Prime Minister will file his nomination papers at the Kachheri. Varanasi goes to polls in the last phase of Lok Sabha elections on May 19.
