NEET-UG Exam – The upcoming National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (undergraduate) also known as the NEET-UG exam is likely to be conducted on 17 July 2022.  The online registration for the exam has been extended to 15th May 2022.  National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct this exam.NEET-UG Exam

Considered to be the topmost medical entrance exam in the country, NEET-UG will be conducted in single-day pen-paper mode (offline) and will be conducted in 13 languages, these include English, Hindi, and Urdu, and 10 regional languages – Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Telugu and Tamil. 

NEET-UG Exam Dates  2022

The registration for the NEET UG Exam will end on 15th May 2022. After the registration, there will be a five-day correction window to allow students to make corrections to their forms.  

The exam date was finally fixed after the approval of the National Medical Commission (NMC), the Ministry of Health, and the Education Ministry.

Last year, 16,14,777 candidates registered for this prestigious medical entrance exam of which 95.6% appeared. Only 8,70,074 (about 56.4%) candidates qualified for the NEET UG exam. The ratio of female candidates who have qualified for this exam was 1.19 lakh higher than male candidates. 

Last year three candidates were declared as the toppers as they have scored the same marks with a perfect score of 720 marks. 

Candidates may note that NMC had removed the upper age limit from NEET 2022 examination. According to which all students who have completed or would complete the age of 17 years by December 31, 2022, are eligible to appear for the examination.
