Niko Kovac News – Bayern Munich sacked Niko Kovac after their 5-1 loss against Eintracht Frankfurt. The farewell comes just 18 months after his appointment as the coach. Niko Kovac won a double with Bayern Munich, leading them to the Bundesliga title along with the DFB Cup in the 2018/19 season.

Since his appointment, Kovac had doubters against him but he kept on delivering satisfactory performances, keeping the fans and the management content. According to many football pundits, Kovac was never really the ideal fit for Bayern Munich and it was the sheer quality of the players that made the Croatian manager look good on paper.

Bayern Munich is next going to be seen playing the biggest and most crucial game in the Bundesliga on the weekend against Borussia Dortmund.
