Notes Ban : Supreme Court says, there may be Riots. It is serious problem
Centre has been facing tough questions from Supreme Court on Notes Ban, who says “We will have riots on the streets”.
The number of petitions being put up for filing challenging the ban on Rs.500 and Rs.1000 notes is increasing day by day. Severe problems are being faced by people all over the country due to this sudden ban. There are long queues in front of Banks with people starting to gather from as early as 5 am. Instances were reported where even people standing in queues from 8 am had to go empty handed in the evening. At an average, it’s taking a person approximately 5 hours to reach to the bank counter after braving the long queues.
There is increasing unrest among the masses with most of the people braving it considering the benefits at large as a country. But it is yet to be seen how soon the patience of people will dry. Government is trying its best to cope up with the situation, but this doesn’t seem enough.
