Reliance Jio has silently launched Jio tv website. You can watch most of the TV channels for free here if you are a Jio subscriber. Read more interesting facts :
- Launched just a few days after Reliance launched the web version of its content platform, Jio Cinema.
- Jiousers can access all the channels on http://jiotv.com/ like they do on their mobile application.
- The user interface is also pretty much the same as for the Android application.
- Currently, JioTV offers 425+TV channels including 60 HD channels – 8 business news channels, 41 devotional channels, 106 entertainment channels, 34 infotainment channels, 26 kids Channels, 14 lifestyle channels, 44 movie channels, 40 music channels, 174 news channels and 21 sports channels.
- You can Pause and Play live TV channels.
- Features include Search, Share, set-reminders, zero disturbance, rewind and forward, channel zap, mini player and more.
- These channels are neatly categorized under different heads. The categories include Entertainment, Movies, Kids, Sports, Lifestyle, Infotainment, Religious, News, Music, Regional, Devotional and Business News.
- These channels are also categorized in different languages including Hindi and English and various regional languages like Marathi, Bengali, Malayalam, Tamil, Punjabi, Urdu, Gujarati, Telugu, Odia, Bhojpuri, Assamese and Kannada. Trying to get some international audience as well, options of Nepali and French are also available.
With this, Reliance Jio has offered the Television access to most of its customers. The users can also watch it on any of the mobile browsers as well, thereby avoiding the hassle of downloading an application for it. This sure is going to add many more subscribers to Jio network.
