Private hospitals have started offering home care packages for covid-19 patients with mild symptoms. Max Healthcare, Fortis Healthcare, and Medanta have already begun providing at-home treatments to COVID-19 patients.
This move of providing at-home packages for COVID-19 patients is most likely to help in reducing overcrowding at the hospitals. This will also help in the proper treatment of the patient and will save them the hassle of visiting doctors’ clinics or the hospitals frequently. The patients who choose to take this package will be provided with an essential medical kit which includes a thermometer and an oximeter probe. Along with this, the patients’ daily monitoring of vitals will also be done twice in a day by a trained nurse on call.
