Rajasthan Royals Tribute to Shane Warne: The ‘First Royal’ Shane Warne to receive tribute
Rajasthan Royals Tribute to Shane Warne – Rajasthan Royals will pay tribute to their late captain and ‘First Royal’ Shane Warne in their match against Mumbai Indians on 30th April 2022. The great Australian spinner had led the Rajasthan Royals to their maiden title victory back in 2008 with a very inexperienced squad. This was indeed an inspirational story as nobody had given Rajasthan a chance ahead of the tournament. But Shane Warne groomed youngsters and led them to victory in the first edition of the IPL. Under the leadership of Warne, Rajasthan Royals defeated Chennai Super Kings by 3 wickets at the DY Patil stadium to be crowned as the inaugural champions of the IPL. Owing to the occasion, Rajasthan Royals have decided to pay tribute to the late legendary captain in their match against Mumbai Indians on 30th April 2022 at DY Patil stadium. This will indeed be a great gesture as Rajasthan had won their first title at DY Patil stadium itself.
