Yuvistrong is not just a name but he has proved to be strong in International cricket. He was instrumental in India’s two world cup wins. He is the first cricketer to hit six 6s in a single over. He did this miracle against England in the inaugural season of the World T20 in South Africa in 2007. In the 2011 world cup also, he was magnificent. He won ‘man of the tournament’ award for that season. The 37-year-old was also a part of the ICC Champions Trophy in England in 2017. India reached the final of that ICC tournament. Now, Yuvi has finally called it quits from playing International cricket. Yuvraj has scored 8701 runs from 304 ODI matches. He has 14 hundreds and 52 fifties to his name. In T20Is, he has over a thousand runs, with 8 half-centuries and going with that, Yuvi was a handy bowler as well. He has picked up 111 wickets in ODIs and 28 wickets from 58 T20Is. Yuvraj was the best all-rounder for India in that season. Yuvi also featured in the longest versions of the game, but, he never cemented his place in the test side. He has played 40 test matches for India and scored 1900 runs with 3 centuries in his Test career. All of these came against Pakistan. In 40 test matches, Yuvi also picked up 9 wickets to his name.

Ambati Rayudu

He was the best player when Virat wasn’t around. India rested Virat Kohli for the Asia cup and Rayudu was given the chance and he did well in that tournament. But, once Virat came in, Rayudu lost his place in the side. He was in the scheme of things but his inconsistent form at the international level and in the IPL saw him out of the squad. Rayudu was the player to play at the number 4 spot in the world cup 2019, but he never used that chance and hence, he announced his retirement. Many believe that this decision from Rayudu was taken in frustration for not being selected in the world cup squad. After Shikhar Dhawan’s injury in the world cup 2019, Rishabh Pant replaced him instead of Rayudu. Rayudu has played some good innings for India and his contribution can’t be ignored. He has played just 55 ODIs for India and in those 55 ODIs, Rayudu has scored 1694 runs with 3 centuries and 10 half-centuries. He played his last One Day International match in Ranchi against Australia this year. But, he didn’t do too well there as well.
