Rita Bhaduri the Veteran Actress Passes Away at Just 62

Actress Rita Bhaduri has been part of the Indian Film and Television Industry for a very long time now, but sadly has passed away this morning. She was 62 years old. The sudden demise happened because of a kidney ailment due to which she had been in the hospital for the past 10 days. The funeral is said to be held today itself at the Cremation Ground, Parsi Wada Road, Chakala, Andheri West at 12:00 pm.

Actor Shishir Sharma announced this tragic happening on Facebook and is surely in sorrow for the loss of a mother to many and a great human being, Rita Bhaduri.

People consider her to be the most Veteran Actress and she was. Rita Bhaduri was an amazing actor and performed in many Bollywood movies. She was currently playing the role of a Grandmother in the television show, Nimki Mukhiya. She has acted in around 30 television shows. She initially appeared in films as a supporting actor in the 70s, 80s and the 90s and then later acted in the television industry. Although, she wasn’t from the Gujarati origin but she was an exceptionally successful actress in the Gujarati Film Industry as well.

Shiwani Chakraborty, who is playing Rekha in the serial Nimki Mukhiya said, “I will really miss her. More than a co-actor, she was a great human being. She was a warm person and her smile was so vibrant. We used to talk for hours. I have learnt lot of things from her. One primary teaching being that you need to always be positive. She loved her work and encouraged us to do the same. It’s a really sad news for the entire team.”

Her demise to the heavenly aboard is going to give the Industry another void to fit in. We would just hope for her soul to rest in peace, she was truly an inspiration to many.
