Chelsea has offloaded a lot of defenders this season. Zappacosta has joint the list of Gary Cahill and David Luiz who have been transferred from Chelsea FC. Luiz has joined Arsenal FC whereas Cahill has joined Crystal Palace. Emerson will be seen in the Chelsea squad on the wing along with Pulisic who has just been signed from the German club, Borussia Dortmund. However, increasing an extra year to his contract would mean that the Blues should still be able to get a good fee for the player if they decide to sell him at the end of the season.
