Cristiano Ronaldo wrapped up one of the best seasons of his life in style as he took home the prestigious Ballon d’Or award for the fifth time in his career at a star-studded ceremony. The Portuguese superstar was voted the best player in the world once again, winning his second consecutive award at the ceremony that was attended by the who whose in world football in Paris. Ronaldo won his first prize in 2008 before successes in 2013, 2014 and 2016. It was another grand night for him at the foot of the Eiffel Tower which goes along perfectly with those he had in Madrid, Málaga and Munich, and in Cardiff
The win for Ronaldo was least surprising though with Ronaldo 100% sure to win the biggest award in international football on the back of his achievements in the last year.
