Sara Ali Khan’s Second Film To Be Reportedly Produced By Anushka Sharma
Daughter of Saif Ali Khan, Sara Ali Khan who is currently shooting for her Bollywood debut, Kedarnath, which is slated to release in December next year has rumored to have already signed her second film. If the reports are to go by, Sara Ali Khan’s second film will be produced by Anushka Sharma‘s production firm Clean Slate Films, which the actress co-owns with her brother Karnesh.
Here’s everything that you might want to know:
- The film is going to be a social drama according to the sources and Sara Ali Khan liked the script so much that she instantly agreed to do it.
- A midday report claimed that source who confirmed this said, “The project will be a social drama. When Anushka, Karnesh, Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor [of KriArj] were scouting for a female lead, they zeroed in on Sara. Prerna and Arjun have worked with her in Kedarnath [co-producers] and they like her dedication. When they narrated the script to Sara, she loved it”
- It is also being said that the director of Kedarnath, Abhishek Kapoor was not in favor of her signing the second film this soon, but the actress didn’t want to wait long.
- Scheduled to release on December 21, the debut movie of Sara Ali Khan, Kedarnath will be a love story that unfolds in the course of a pilgrimage and the floods that ravaged Uttarakhand in 2013. Immensely talented, Dhoni actor, Sushant Singh Rajput is paired opposite Sara Ali Khan making the upcoming movie highly promising.
Though the news has not been officially confirmed by anyone, the spokesperson of Clean Slate Films confirmed that they had a casual conversation with the Kedarnath actress, but currently they are “focusing their energies on their upcoming movie, Pari”. Pari is Anushka’s next supernatural thriller and is slated to release in February
