How to select the Best Destination for Travel
Now that you have decided that you would travel, be it a solo trip or with family or friends, the next important thing is where to go? Been an avid traveler, let me give you some tips which have always come handy for me to dedice where to go:
How far are you willing to travel?
First things first. Just decide if you want to travel close to your place or willing to travel a long distance, travel to a place where you can reach by road/train or you don’t mind spending on flying by air. Once you are sure about this, half of the battle is won as now you can narrow down the destinations.
Where would you prefer to visit?
Ask yourself if you would be more inclined to visit a hill station or a beach, city or a village, wildlife or trekking, touristy places or the unbeaten paths. The answer will bring you closer to your choice of destination.
How much do you want to spend?
Budget plays an important part in finalizing the destination to travel. Now that you know your preferences, select one depending upon your budget. Travelling doesn’t always mean a hole in your pocket at the end of your trip.
Independent trip or an Organized tour?
If you are a seasoned traveler, you can choose to be on your own. However, if you are the one less traveled, it’s better to take an organized tour. Contact a travel agent (check their credentials and reviews) and get a tour planned as per your preferences. This will ensure safety in case you are traveling solo as also you would be able to cover more places in less time. If you love adventures, go ahead do your own research and carry on.
