Spiderman No More a part of the MCU – Dispute between Sony and Disney lead to no Spiderman in Marvel production anymore

Sony Disney Deal – A really shocking news of the day is that Marvel Studios has ended their production contribution for the upcoming Spider-Man movies. The President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige pulled out of producing the future Spiderman movies because of disputes between Sony and Disney (Marvel’s parent company). These disputes arose due to revenue sharing from films starring Spiderman.

A spokesperson from Sony confirmed this news and also added that he was disappointed with Kevin Feige pulling out from producing Spiderman movies. Disney had initially offered for a 50-50 co-financing arrangement between both the studios but Sony rejected the offer after which Marvel pulled out from financing the movie. Spiderman was definitely a big addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
