Lok Sabha Election dates 2019: State-wise full list of Election dates of 7 phases
Lok Sabha Election dates 2019 – India has gone into polling for the Lok Sabha Elections with the first phase being on April 11 and the second phase on April 18. Dates for 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th phases of election 2019 are April 23, April 29, May 6, May 12 and May 19 respectively. The results will be declared on 23rd May 2019.
This year elections will have around 8000 candidates from nearly 2000 parties contesting for 543 seats. Some of the major parties include Bhartiya Janata Party, Indian National Congress, All India Trinamool Congress, Bahujan Samaj Party, Nationalist Congress Party, All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, Biju Janata Dal and many more.
91 Lok Sabha constituencies in 18 states and two Union Terrorities went into polling on April 11. In the first phase of Lok Sabha Election, voter turnout was 69.43 percent. The overall turnout during Lok Sabha elections 2014 was 66.44 percent.

The polling for the second phase of the Lok Sabha election 2019 started today. 11 states, the union territory of Puducherry with Tamil Nadu have gone into polling. The voting is being held in a total of 38 constituencies for 95 Lok Sabha seats. The fate of around 1600 odd candidates contesting for these 95 seats will be sealed by the voters today.
