A splash of colors, folk music, rhythm drum beats and joy all together merge at Suraj Kund Mela. Haryana celebrates Surajkund Mela during the first fortnight of each February.
The huge colorful Mela is organised by the SurajKund Authority and Haryana Tourism with the collaboration of the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Textile, Ministry of External Affairs. This is the 32nd SurajKund International Craft Mela-2018. It is an International Mela where around 20 countries are participating, including all states of India. This time Uttar Pradesh has been chosen as the theme of Mela. Several cultural programs have been planned to showcase in the flavour of every state of the country where a large number of national and international artists and cultural groups will perform. The main cultural programs will be held at chaupals during the evening as well as in the open theatres.
