Oppo will no more be the Official Sponsor for Team India

Team India New Sponsor – The Indian Team will travel to West Indies in a few days with the old logo of Oppo on their jersey but soon they will get a new sponsor named BYJU’s. BYJU’s is an education application which inspires learning. This will be the new official sponsor of the Indian Cricket Team.

The Board of Cricket Control in India announced the BYJU’s will be the official sponsor of Team India from now. BYJU’s will take all the authority from Oppo as the new sponsor of the Indian team. Oppo had a five year deal with BCCI in 2017, but the rights value are too high for Oppo. That’s why they couldn’t continue as the Indian team’s official sponsor.

BCCI’s CEO Rahul Lohri said that the BCCI and BYJU’s share a common interest and views, together they will take the Indian Cricket Team forward. This new association will start from September 5th 2019 to March 31st 2022. The founder and the CEO of BYJU’s said that they are very proud to be associated with the Indian Cricket Team which the most loved team. Cricket is a heartbeat for the Indians and they are thrilled to be the part of the most loved team in the world.

Cricket inspires a million people and BYJU’s has always recognised the role of sports in the child’s development. As Cricket is an inspiration to a lot of fans, BJYU’s also hope that they can inspire many people to learn the BJYU’s app. BYJU’s will be seen on the Indian Team Jersey in the home series against South Africa when will be held on September 2019.
