Anupam Kher is currently shooting for his upcoming movie The Accidental Prime Minister, which is based on the book by Sanjaya Baru having the same title.The shooting has begun in London. The appearance of Anupam Kher makes the movie more interesting, with uncanny similar looks to the former Prime Minister of India.

The Accidental Prime Miniter first clip from the sets is out and it is a 9 second clip.


In the recent video clip, Anupam Kheris seen portraying former PM Manmohan Singh and the clip was tweeted by news agency ANI from the set of the movie.  While talking about the video,  Anupam Kher can be seen coming out of the office and walking away in the exact walking style of Dr. Manmohan Singh.  After watching the clip we can say that Anupam Kher is the best choice for this character.

While speaking about the role in the film, Anupam Kher said “The opportunity of portraying a contemporary personality like Dr. Manmohan Singh in The Accidental Prime Minister is an immense challenge for me as an actor. He is part of a 24/7 media era where the world knows his persona minutely. I have been internalizing this character for the past few months. I look forward to translating that effort into cinematic reality.”

Meanwhile, according to the media source, a German-born actor Suzanne Bernert will be playing the role of former Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi. The film will also feature Lipstick Under My Burkha actor Aahana Kumar as Priyanka Gandhi and Akshay Khanna, who reportedly plays Baru.The film is directed by Vijay Ratnakar Gutte and Hansal Mehta is the creative producer in the film. The Accidental Prime Minister is expected to release on December 21.
