Three terrorists have been reportedly killed after they attacked the army camp in Langate in north Kashmir. The incident happened on early Thursday morning. Officers stated that three infiltration attempts have been stopped along the LoC since last night.
At around 5 am, terrorists opened fire on Army camp and soldiers retaliated instantly.
The firing went on for about 30 minutes, during which three terrorists were shot dead.
An army officer said “The troops were alert and the attack was foiled. Villages near the camp are being searched…The infiltration attempts were assisted by Pakistani posts.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was informed on Wednesday by Ajit Doval, a national security adviser that around 100 terrorists are being prepped to cross the LoC and launch attacks in India.
