  • SC’s ruling on AGR has put an eruption in the future of companies like Vodafone Idea, etc… Nirmala Sitharaman in the context of the same said that she didn’t want any company to shut down their operations and wants them to continue running.
  • The SC in response to the Odd-even scheme in Delhi said that the Delhi government needs to explore other ways to tackle the Air pollution crisis.
  • A parliamentary panel meeting called to discuss the ongoing pollution crisis in Delhi-NCR was canceled as only 4 out of 29 MPs turned up for the meeting.

  • The SC on 15th November cleared Essar Steel’s takeover by Arcelor Mittal. This will pave a way for banks to recover Rs 42000 crore in dues and oust the Ruias.
  • After an FIR was lodged against the human rights organization, Amnesty International India, the CBI raided four of their offices in Delhi and Bengaluru for alleged violation of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act.
