T20 Cricket has evolved and has also helped players around the world. Initially, the shortest form of the game was known for the batsmen. But now, the bowlers are smart enough to restrict the batsmen from scoring quick runs.

The batsmen too have found ways to counter the bowlers. With shots like reverse sweep, uppercuts, dilscoop, helicopter shot, etc…, there are innovative ways for the batsmen to tackle a good bowler.

Here are the five batsmen of this decade in T20 Cricket. These batsmen are extraordinary in test and ODI cricket but in T20 Cricket they can take the game away in a second.

Virat Kohli – The King of Cricket they say and it is true for this man who has performed well across all the formats. Kohli is the modern-day great due to the unmatched performances that he has delivered for his country. He has a hunger for runs and wants his team to win from any situation. In T20 Cricket too, his record is exceptional. Kohli is the only player who has an average of above 50 in all the three formats. This average of over 50 means that he is consistent. He doesn’t throw away his wicket just like that and has the art of scoring the runs in whichever pace he wants. That is why the strike rate is also high for the Indian skipper. Kohli doesn’t rely on big-hitting but believes in converting one into two. This helps him to churn runs in the middle overs. Kohli has taken off from T20 Cricket. But still, he is in the top 10 of the T20 Rankings. Now, Virat will want to win the World T20 in Australia which will be played next year. It looks like Kohli will be a regular member for India in the T20 setup. This means the fans will be able to see more of the batting wizard in T20 Cricket.
