Trump won’t live in White house, neither will take salary

Donald Trump reportedly may not in White House full time, after infer the US presidency in January.

He is now discussing with his advisor about splitting his time between Washington and his Penthouse in Manhattan.

His Advisor told that trump is contemplating as to how many days a week he will have to stay in White house as he is very fond of his luxurious penthouse.

A report in the New York Times said, “Trump, a homebody who often flew several hours late at night during the campaign so he could wake up in his own bed in Trump Tower, is talking with his advisers about how many nights a week he will spend in the White House. He has told them he would like to do what he is used to, which is spending time in New York when he can”.
On the other hand, US President-Elect has said, he would take $1 as his salary a year instead of $400,000 and will also refrain from going on any vacation.

When asked whether he was going to the president’s salary, he responded, “ No, I’m not gonna take the salary, I’m not taking it”, in a video in September.
In an interview aired yesterday, he said, “I think I have to by law take $1, so I’ll take $1 a year. But I don’t even know what it is”. He added talking about the vacations, “We have so much work. There’s so much work to be done. And I want to get it done for the people…I want to get it done. We’re lowering taxes; we’re taking care of health care. I mean, there’s just so much to be done. So I don’t think we’ll be very big on vacations, no”.
