Virat Kohli India’s most successful test captain – Virat Kohli became India’s most successful Test captain after the team thrashed West Indies in the second match of the test series by 257 runs in Jamaica on Monday. India went into the fourth day looking for eight West Indian wickets and just after the lunch were able to complete their task. Mohammed Shami and Ravindra Jadeja picked up three wickets each to seal the series-clinching win for India.
After this win, Kohli now has 28 wins from 48 matches and overtakes his predecessor and mentor Mahendra Singh Dhoni who had 27 wins from 60 Test matches. Kohli made his debut under the reign of MS Dhoni and always talks highly about his former captain. After Dhoni retired from test cricket after the series against Australia, Kohli has taken control since then.
