Thanks to Sehwag’s innings, Team India won this Test match by an innings and 52 runs. Interestingly, the Multan Test proved to be the last test match of the great off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq. Saqlain Mushtaq could never find a place in the Test team after this match. Saqlain took 1 wicket for 204 runs in the Multan Test.
Sehwag’s second triple century – On 29 March 2008, exactly 4 years after the Multan Test, Sehwag once again attempted to hit a triple century. This time he achieved that against a strong South African team in Chennai.

In Chennai, Sehwag completed his century in just 116 balls. After this, he completed his 200 runs in just 194 balls. He took only 225 balls to score 250 runs, after which he did a miracle to score a triple century from just 278 balls.
