It is not Just America, China or Russia who is focused on Military Build-up. Coming decade will be marked by an increase in Global defence spending amid the rising instability and feuds, as said in HIS Jane’s Latest annual Defence Budgets Report.
Global Defence expenditure has increased from $1.55 trillion to $1.57 trillion in 2016.
In Asia: China’s defence budget is said to be doubled from $123 billion in 2010 to $233 billion in 2020. India has overtaken Saudi Arabia and Russia and has become the fourth largest spender in the world. India will be spending more on defence that the UK by 2018, according to the reports.
In Europe: European Union members have boosted their budget to $219 billion in 2016. The increase in budget in Future is less likely to happen due to increasing economic constraints, for example; breakdown of the economy in Greece and Brexit.
In America: America is still Number one when it comes to spending on Defence. The 2016 budget spent on the military was $622 billion, which is the 40% of the total global spending on Military.
