Speak Softly: It’s for all those people who have a loud voice even when they speak in a lighter tone, it appears as if they are shouting or are too loud. The problem can be even worse when you are in a closed cubicle and the noise of that one person can appear to be echoing all over. With such people, the best way to make them realise, that they are loud is not always by telling them but by talking to them in a softer tone yourself. The sudden variation in both of yours pitch can make them realise that they are too loud.

Prepare-well: You will also come across people at the workplace where they will pretend to know every damn thing, even if it does not belong to their domain. If such person is your boss, then your life becomes even more miserable. To tackle with such people, the best way is to prepare yourself in advance for that project you are working upon. So that when you are in that meeting, you don’t have to struggle to look for a response. When you do that for several meetings you won’t be the target of ridicule for the people who know it all anymore.
Share common interests: If you have any of those colleagues with which you see a conflict creeping in, the best way to deal with them is to find common interests among yourselves. When you share common grounds, the conflict can be avoided to an extent.
