Out of various malls in Dubai, Dubai shopping mall, Mall of Emirates and Wafi mall are the famous ones. Dubai shopping mall provides complete shopping experience by offering over thousands of stores and brands from across the globe. The mall features a large aquarium, indoor waterfall, Food outlets and gaming zone which makes it a perfect place for entertainment and shopping.

On the other hand Mall of Emirates has over 466 retail outlets, 5-star hotels for staying option and Ski Dubai, which is an indoor skiing complex and Wafi mall is famous for Boutique stores like Givenchy and Chanel.

It is also the Home to Gourmet section where one may get best gourmet deli.

Global village

To shop in Dubai, the global village is the Shopping carnival located at the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road. The carnival features pavilion from different parts of the world and attracts a lot of visitors across the globe. It starts in late November to February.

Every pavilion representing their country showcases different items of specialization and artifacts of that particular country. One may also see stunts and entertaining performances by international artists.

Deira souks

Souks are the Traditional Arabian markets selling a variety of things. Souks have been a great part of life and trade in Dubai and other parts of UAE.  Deira Souks is one such place in Dubai where the region is divided into different alleys selling different things. There is Gold Souk, Perfume Souk, Textile Souk, Spice Souk, Souk Al Bahar and Souk Madinat.

Souk Madinat is the place where one may find souvenirs, artifacts, and traditional jewelry. It also offers dining options which have both western and Lebanese food.

On the other hand, Souk al Bahar is not the regular street like other souks. It is located in World’s biggest mall, The Dubai mall where many traders and brands sell their products.

Al Fahidi Street

If you are looking for electronics and gadgets then Al Fahidi Street is for you. Dubai being the tax-free country sells cheapest mobiles, laptops, camera and household electronics like washing machines, microwaves and mixers, and grinders.

Karama shopping center

Mementos and Souvenirs are what everyone loves to have when abroad and to bring back home the memories of their trip and to cherish them thereafter. These souvenirs are pretty expensive in other stores in Dubai and Karama shopping center sells them at reasonable prices.

This shopping center also has shops selling Handicrafts and imitation watches.

Heritage and diving village

Heritage and diving village is located at Al Shindagha near Dubai Creek. The village offers insight into Dubai’s history and lifestyle. It introduces to traditional customs, professions and local craftsmanship. The village also gives an opportunity to know about local life in coastal, mountain and desert areas of UAE. One may witness the traditional art and profession of Jewellery making, Blacksmithing and Whistle making. The village also has shops selling jewelry, traditional sweets, and pottery.
