He got the big wicket of England’s star batsman, Kevin Pietersen, off the very first ball. Virat took his first wicket off the first ball which he bowled in the T20 International cricket.

Pragyan Ojha
A pure match-winner who shinned in the limited opportunities he got. Pragyan Ojha played for India and was a front line bowler with Ashwin, Harbhajan Singh, and Ravindra Jadeja. He made his T20 International debut in Nottingham where he took 4 wickets and gave away just 5 runs in his 4 overs. In the same match, he dismissed Junaid Siddiqui of Bangladesh on the first ball of the match. That is when he became India’s second bowler to take a wicket on the first ball in T20 International. He simultaneously also became the second bowler to take a wicket on the first ball in his debut in the T20Is.

Ajit Agarkar
He was a part of India’s one-time leading wicket-taking bowlers. Agarkar made his international debut in 1979. The first ODI match of his career was played on December 3 against South Africa in Johannesburg. He played his first T20 International game in 2007 in Johannesburg. In that match, every Indian player marked their presence with Agarkar. This was the first game of the shortest format and this match between India and South Africa was the first in this format. Agarkar was the one who started the proceedings for India with the ball. He took the wicket of Proteas Star batsman Herschelle Gibbs in that match and thus became, the first bowler to take a wicket on the first ball of a T20 International match.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar
Bhuvneshwar Kumar made a one-day debut on December 3 in Chennai when Pakistan toured India in 2012. In the Chennai ODI, Bhuvneshwar dismissed Mohammad Hafeez on the first ball. He also became the first bowler to take a wicket on the first ball in his ODI debut.

Sagagopan Ramesh
The opening batsman Sadagopan Ramesh played for India in both the ODIs and the Test matches. He took a wicket on his first delivery and sent Nixon McLean back to the pavilion. This was not the debut game for Sadagopan Ramesh. But still, he took a wicket on the first ball of his ODI career.

Nilesh Kulkarni took a wicket in the Colombo Test which India played against Sri Lanka. He took the wicket on the first ball of his Test career in 1979 and played just one ODI before this debut test match. Nilesh is still the only player to hold such a record in Indian cricket.
