He is the backbone of Pakistan’s batting. He is the first middle-order batsman to score a hundred for Pakistan in this world cup. Babar Azam has scored 474 runs in 8 matches with 1 century and 3 half-centuries. He had an average of 67.71 and a strike rate of 87.77. His best score of 101 not out came against The Kiwis.

The Indian skipper didn’t have a great tournament. He could have done better as a skipper of the team. Kohli scored 5 back to back fifties in this tournament, which is a record for Team India. But he didn’t score a single hundred. In the 9 matches Kohli played, he scored 443 runs with an average of 55.37 and a strike rate of 95.05.
