His 124 not out against West Indies helped the Tigers to chase down 322 runs. Shakib also averaged well than the rest of the Bangladeshi players. He had an average of 86.57 and strike rate of 96.03 with 5 fifties to his name.

The best captain and a player for the Blackcaps. Williamson is a modern-day great alongside Kohli, Root, and Smith. Kane is a thorough Gentleman off the field. He played some very marvellous knocks under pressure. His knock of 106 not out against South Africa and 148 runs knock against the Windies came when his team needed it the most. After the top order fell early and the middle order didn’t come good, it was the skipper Kane Williamson who stood tall and guided his team through to a win. Another Modern-day batsman who is amongst runs in this world cup. Root is the key man for England in the number 3 position. He has made that slot to his name in this tournament. Root batted well, but, he looked scratchy too at times. The prime example of that is the innings against New Zealand in the final. Root has played 11 matches and has scored 556 runs with two hundreds and 3 fifties to his name. He averaged 61.77 and a strike rate of 89.53.

He had an awesome strike rate of 102.01. Finch hit the most sixes in this tournament. He hit 18 of them. He had 2 fifties and 3 hundreds in this tournament.

He is the backbone of Pakistan’s batting. He is the first middle-order batsman to score a hundred for Pakistan in this world cup. Babar Azam has scored 474 runs in 8 matches with 1 century and 3 half-centuries. He had an average of 67.71 and a strike rate of 87.77. His best score of 101 not out came against The Kiwis.

The Indian skipper didn’t have a great tournament. He could have done better as a skipper of the team. Kohli scored 5 back to back fifties in this tournament, which is a record for Team India. But he didn’t score a single hundred. In the 9 matches Kohli played, he scored 443 runs with an average of 55.37 and a strike rate of 95.05.
