Emojis are what we send as ideograms or smileys along with or without texts that give the receiver a sense of how we are reacting to their message. Emojis exist in varities of genres and include almost all facial expressions, objects, places, weather signs, animals, food, etc… They are also called emoticons.

The World Emoji Day is celebrated on 17th July every year. Emojis have taken over all the digital platforms in the world. It is like a sign language between people who are chatting on the web. It is so popular that it has expanded all over the social media, movies and on top of it all its own official world day!

The World Emoji Day is now an unofficial holiday which is celebrated every year for the creation of emojis.

The first ever emoji was created by a Japanese, Shigetaka Kurita while working on an internet mobile platform in 1999 when he distributed a 175 pixel emoji. Then, there was a revolution set by Apple’s ios6 texting after which they added the Ginger emoji along with 70 new characters in the emoji palette. This also includes the different skin tones and more expressions to celebrate the Emoji Day.
