Yogi Adityanath warns UP Officials that he may call on landline to improve law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh. The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh said today that he may give surprise calls during office hours on official landlines  of the Government officers which may include District Magistrates, Superintendent of Police, IAS officers.

A warning has been issued that the Chief Minister could call the Government officials at any time during office hours, 9am to 6pm, on official landline, so they better watch out and be present in the office or else be ready to explain their absence from the office. Seems like it’s better for the officials to be present than justifying their absence as it’s not going to be easy.

Mr.Srikant Sharma, the Energy Minister and Government Spokesperson said in a statement that the Government officials include those operating from camp offices must start spending time in their offices. This will ensure that people looking for any help would be able to get in touch with them rather than rushing to Lucknow to ask for help from the Chief Minister and other Ministers.

Yogi Adityanath has also stated that while his office will also publish their journey and achievements on completion of 100 days in the power, the Ministers in his Cabinet will also have to publish their individual “100 days Report Card”.

Its important to mention that Yogi Adityanath has asked his Ministers to not restrict work only to their allotted Departments, but to also supervise work in other departments of their Districts. Adding the surprise element to the work of his Ministers also, the Ministers have also been asked to conduct surprise checks at the places of public importance including schools and hospitals.

Yogi Adityanath is putting in his best to ensure that there’s significant improvement in the law and order situation of the State. This warning comes just a few days after he stated that he is expecting administrative officers to put in long hours; may be around 18-20 hours some days or else look for another career. It seems Uttar Pradesh is going to show improvements super fast.
