1- Shahid Afridi: Pakistan – 16 years 217 days:

Shahid Afridi

The veteran Pakistani all rounder holds a record for the youngest batsman to hit an ODI century till date. Even in the early days of his career he was destructive enough to score a century and till date that record has not been breached. He scored his first century against Sri Lanka on 04/10/1996 at Gymkhana Club Ground, Nairobi, Zimbabwe. He scored a ravishing 102 to make a still standing record in the record books of ODI cricket.

2- Usman Ghani: Afghanistan – 17 years 242 days:

Usman Ghani

The Afghan batsman made his first century, scoring 118, when he was not even an adult against Zimbabwe on 20th July 2014 at the Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Although he has been in and out of the Afghan National Team since then, his record to score a century at such a young age still holds ground as the second youngest batsmen to score an ODI century.

3- Imran Nazir: Pakistan – 18 years 121 days

Imran Nazir

The former Pakistani player played as an opening batsman between the years 1999 and 2012. During that time, he created history by becoming the third youngest batsman to score a century. He scored a mesmerizing 105 not out on 15th April 2000 against Zimbabwe at the National Cricket Stadium, Grenada, West Indies.

4- Saleem Elahi: Pakistan – 18 years 312 day

Saleem Elahi

The former Pakistani player played for a brief period of time featuring in a total of 13 Tests and 48 ODIs from 1995 to 2004. He became the first player from his country to score a century in his debut ODI match by scoring 102 not out against Sri Lanka on 29th September 1995 at the Jinnah Stadium, Gujwranwala, Pakistan. Since then, he holds a record to be among the youngest players to score a century in ODI.

5- Tamim Iqbal: Bangladesh – 19 years 2 days

Tamim Iqbal

The current Bangladesh ODI skipper, Tamim Iqbal is the fifth youngest batsman to score a century in ODI cricket. Making his ODI debut in 2007, Iqbal also served as the vice skipper of the side from December 2010 to September 2011. He scored 129 against Ireland on 22nd March 2008 at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur, Dhaka to hold this record till date.
