He scored 362 runs and also picked up 15 wickets. This performance from Yuvi helped India to win the world cup after 28 years.

India Vs England – Natwest series Final 2020, Lords
This was a thrilling match which is fondly remembered for Sourav Ganguly when he took his shirt off at the balcony of Lords. But Yuvraj Singh and Mohd Kaif were the main heroes of this epic run chase. India had a decent start to this inning. But the visitors lost the way in between as India lost big guns very quickly. Yuvi’s six sixes against England in World T20 in 2007
There was sheer magic whenever Yuvi batted. This match between India and England was a crucial one for both the teams as both needed to win this match and qualify for the semi-final. India batted first and had a great start to their innings. But soon Yuvi and England’s Andrew Flintoff had a heated exchange of words between themselves. This fired Yuvraj Singh up and he hit 6 consecutive sixes in the one over of Stuart Board. Yuvi recorded the fastest half-century in T20 Cricket at that time. In the end, India won the match by 18 runs and progressed to the semi-final of that tournament.

150 run knock against England at Cuttack in 2017
Yuvi’s best moments in International cricket have come mostly against England. This is another instance where the England team was involved. Yuvi scored his career-best knock of 150 runs against England in Cuttack when England toured India in the year 2017. This inning from Yuvi came at a difficult time. The hosts had lost three quick wickets along with Skipper Kohli who was dismissed for a duck. Then it was the partnership between MSD and Yuvi that put India in a strong position. This was also the last ODI hundred for both of these players. MS Dhoni scored 134 runs while Yuvi scored his career-best score of 150 runs in this match.

This was the ICC knockout trophy match which was played in the year 2000 where Yuvraj also made his ODI debut for India. On his debut itself, he faced the mighty bowling line-up of Australia. But Yuvi did not shy away from scoring runs. He played a memorable knock of 84 runs from just 80 balls with the help of 12 boundaries. His performance everyone raised everyone’s expectations very high and Yuvraj Singh did turn out to be true to them.
